• Lead architecture for ChefAI, an AI assistant that generates recipes, analyses menus and tailors advice to each chef’s business, live in ~20 markets; guide ~12 contributors.
• Work directly with Unilever’s business stakeholders and enterprise architects to turn business goals into product scope, API schemas, integration contracts and the security model.
• Product initiative: saw that every vendor platform embedded the client’s widget differently and proposed a framework-agnostic widget platform (one script, any stack, OneTrust-style). Built the prototype myself (configuration dashboard, vendor-side preview, injection scripts) and won client approval to take it to production.
• Shipped an agentic, streaming AI experience on a zero-build platform: React loads on demand only where the assistant lives, keeping content pages at 0 KB of framework JavaScript and meeting strict Core Web Vitals launch criteria.
• Designed the streaming layer: streamed fetch with a custom SSE parser for authenticated, abortable streams, and client-generated run IDs so no early reasoning events are lost. The recommendations engine later reused the pattern.
• Made the wait feel short and safe: live model reasoning is kept separate from the final answer, which reveals progressively, so agent runs of up to 3 minutes stay engaging; tiered fallbacks mean a failed stream never loses the conversation.
• Built the personalised onboarding (address → restaurant match → menu → tailored recipes), anonymous-first chat that merges into the account on login, and accessible, mixed English/Arabic RTL conversations.

Senior Full-Stack Engineer & Architect

• Built the Mercedes-AMG owners’ community platform, used by ~12,000 owners: registration across owner categories, member profiles, events and posts.
• Full-stack delivery: built API endpoints and Next.js route handlers, wrote AWS Lambda functions, integrated the FADS and UPS microservices, and traced data issues down to the database.
• Worked directly with product owners and client stakeholders: evaluated requirements, proposed improvements, and aligned frontend, CMS and backend with the product goals.
• Architected App Router / RSC features on Sanity and AWS, choosing rendering and caching strategy per route; defined API contracts and data models with backend teams.
• Built reusable, CMS-driven vehicle content modules so editors could assemble rich pages without engineering help; wrote Playwright end-to-end tests for key flows.
• Went into framework and CMS source code to solve problems others were blocked on; used Cursor to speed up schema work, integrations and investigations.
